Storing stuff is not the problem. Syncing across multiple Macs is. It sucks that Apple has required the .Mac as a go between in order to take advantage of iSync, but things are as they are.

I like the iPhoto integration, but there are other plugins that offer easy-to-export html albums that I could easily ftp to my hosting as it is.

I guess .Mac is for the lazy. Right now, my .Mac is waiting to be shipped from Amazon, and I have been considering canceling the order. I am teetering on the edge of an inability to justify the cost. Convince me not to and I'll cancel the order.

What do you store on your .mac account that you couldn't easily ftp to your hosting company or even just get access to if you leave a computer on at home that it's stored on?

I've been trying to find something other than easy iCal sharing to justify a .mac subscription, but the low disk space given seems to be a big draw back.
